Criminal Defense · Theft & Fraud

FIRST.— Theft, robbery, and fraud

You’re being accused of keeping something that isn’t yours, or of deceiving someone to take their money. Or the other way around: you’ve been robbed or defrauded, and you want the person responsible to pay.

The difference between petty theft and robbery isn’t just wording: robbery involves violence, intimidation, or force against property (breaking down a door, smashing a window). Theft doesn’t. That distinction completely changes the penalty involved.

SECOND.— Squatting

If your property has been squatted, the first thing to know is that criminal options are limited — most of these cases get resolved through civil proceedings (eviction), not criminal ones. But if there’s unlawful entry into a dwelling (the property was your primary residence, not an empty second home) or forcible occupation, then there is real criminal ground to pursue.

I’ll be honest with you from the start: I don’t promise what the law doesn’t allow.

THIRD.— What I can do for you

  • If you’re being accused: review the evidence against you, the exact legal classification, and build your defense
  • If you’re the victim: bring a private criminal prosecution, claim restitution or compensation, and support you through the entire process

FOURTH.— Shall we talk?

If you’re being accused of something or you’ve been the victim of a property crime, let’s talk.
